PopFUZE #41
Rhona Mirta plays Sonja, the daughter of the Vampire elder Viktor, who falls in love with the Lucian, the leader of the Lycans (werewolves) in this prequel to Underworld and Underworld: Evolution. Any doubts I had about this movie, which is helmed by special effects guy Patrick Tautopoulos rather than previous director Len Wiseman, have been eased after seeing this trailer.
I love the Underworld films and while I am a Vampire fan, I am looking forward to this move - Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans - and hoping to see a lot more of the slick, blue tinged, bleak action of the previous two movies. What I am most looking forward to is that this movie looks set to have a lot more focus on character, and of course the back story to the vampire/ lycan war, than the previous films. However, it also looks like they haven't held back on the action/ violence - which is a good thing!
I can't wait for January! This will be the first time I have seen Underworld on the big screen - bring it on!

I'm not a big fan of Rhona Mitra, but I do also love the Underworld films and will definitely see this one too. Too bad Kate Beckinsale's not going to be in this one though.
And sorry I haven't been posting on here much, man. I have been following it though.
Are you going to see that movie Twilight? I've never read the books or anything, and I'm not totally sold on the film yet...
I have no idea about that movie - I haven't heard about it at all...
I also have never seen Rhona Mirta in any movies, so I don't know what she is like as an actress.
I agree - I wish Kate was in this, but I love the world/ universe of Underworld so much that I am really looking forward to this with or without the lovely Miss Beckinsale (or should I say Mrs Wiseman?).
Plus, I find it funny that Kevin Grevioux used to email me regularly and we used to talk about our personal lives and religion - even more than comics...
